After spending a fun day at Disneyland, we didn't hit any traffic on our way home from Anaheim, and we made it from the park to our house in just under 3 hours! We were sore & exhausted at 11pm, but Nate insisted on getting the mail before we headed to bed. I'm so glad he did because I had exciting news waiting for me in our mailbox! I received my enrollment packet for the Nursing Program!!! I was jumping up & down & squealing (like I do). I am so excited to finally start school for, hopefully, the last time! I am so excited to get back into patient care! This year of working as a school secretary has been very good for me, and it has refreshed my desire to continue my pursuit of working as a nurse! Nursing is what I was called by Lord to do in November, 2000. When I finish, it will be more than 10 years since He pointed me in that direction. I love that He is faithful & fulfills His promises (no matter how long it takes!). I filled out my "intent to enroll," and we stuck it in the mail before work on Thursday morning.
Yes, I know I look tired... I was, but soooo excited!!!
